IEMML Partners in Recovery new site launch
A one-stop portal of information, guidance and support for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness.
Inner East Melbourne Medicare Local (IEMML) is an independent accredited not-for-profit organisation supporting general practice and other primary healthcare service providers. One of the key elements in their mandate is the PIR (Partners in Recovery) program, developed to support people with severe and persistent mental illness and complex needs. To deliver this new service into the community, IEMML joined together with a consortium of 14 other agencies to develop a proposal on how PIR could be delivered in our community.
With a sound working relationship already forged with IEMML, Salsa came onboard, to develop the Partners in Recovery (PIR) website. The site aims to provide a one-stop portal of information, guidance and support for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. At its core, it enables the multiple sectors, services and supports clients may come into contact with, to work in a more collaborative, coordinated and integrated way.
The initiative is coordinated locally by support facilitators who help link people with the services they need across multiple health and welfare sectors. The support facilitator role is key to the success of PIR, by providing a single point of contact for the client in their journey to recovery.
The site is simple to navigate, using large, easy to read font for the target demographic. It contains video, downloadable information resources, clearly written information and straightforward contact details and form. The vivid colours, emotive imagery and a contemporary one page design, utilising parallax scrolling, ensures visitors a beautiful and seamless experience. Visit Inner East Partners In Recovery now.
