Salsa UX Designers own and drive the creative process. A UX Designer consults with the client to understand present user interaction models and designs more effective user experiences. The UX Designer often employs user research methods (user-centric design) to build UX for user testing.

UX Designer responsibilities

Creative process

  • Drive creative workshops (high fidelity) — Lead the production of high- fidelity designs based on rapid iteration of low-fidelity designs. Broker agreement of initial designs and the maintenance of those designs through life of the project.

  • Application of design systems — Use existing creative artefacts such as those of the DTA’s Design System to identify gaps in the design system compared to the creative outcomes required by clients.
